Dedicated dog owners deserve dedicated trainers, and we believe that money should not prevent you from getting the help they need. We strive to be available to assist anyone, anywhere, who reaches out for help with their canine companion.

Payment Plans

I offer zero-interest payment plans through my scheduling software, PocketSuite.

With Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), you can pay for invoices, packages, and product orders in installments. We offer 0% interest financing with up to three approved Buy Now Pay Later providers: Afterpay, Klarna, and Affirm.  Please email me for more information about payment plans. zdogtrainingacademy@gmail.com

Financial Assistance

I offer several reduced-rate training slots every year. The reduced rate is 25% off any training package.

If a reduced rate training slot isn't available when you contact me, it can be reserved for a future month. Please set up a free phone consultation to discuss your dog's behavior issues and see if we are a good fit for working together.

Please consider that requesting a reduced rate when you can afford my regular rate limits access to professional, quality training for those who genuinely need financial assistance to support their beloved companions.

Do you wonder “Why dog training is so expensive?”
Here is just some of what my session cost covers:
  • My experience: I am an experienced certified dog trainer with a wealth of knowledge developed through years of hands-on learning and teaching. This experience is crucial as it has allowed me to develop the skills necessary for greater effectiveness with both my canine and human learners. Dog training is an unlicensed profession. People sometimes hire low-cost trainers, not realizing how much harm it can cause their dogs, specifically if they have behavior issues. Credentials and experience matter

  • The time to prepare for each session and review notes ensuring the client and dog are staying on track to meet their goals.

  • Continued personalization and alterations to the curriculum/ training plan as needed.

  • The time to write follow-up notes and homework for each session.

  • The time to send any additional follow-up information/videos.

  • Travel time to the session.

  • Time to create How-to videos.

  • Training gear and treats for lessons.

The hourly fee also covers:

  • As a dog trainer, continuing education—workshops, seminars, books, and conferences—is incredibly important to me. The industry is unregulated, placing the responsibility for ongoing learning on the individual.

  • Business overhead — state business license, liability insurance, marketing materials, professional services such as attorneys and accountants, professional memberships, taxes, and processing fees.

  • Office supplies, software, and equipment.
